The purpose of the study is to substantiate and clarify approaches to the definition of modern approaches to ensuring the competitive development of agrarian business enterprises. Special attention is paid to the problems of financial support, the influence of financial instruments on the effective economic development of agricultural enterprises in the context of the use of alternative forms and financing. The impact of financial support on the competitiveness of economic entities in the agrarian sector is determined. The importance and possibilities of state financial support for financial support of the competitiveness of agrarian business enterprises have been clarified. Goal. Development of mechanisms for the formation of financial resources of enterprises in the context of their effective functioning on the basis of a conceptual approach, which includes the principles, purpose, objectives and directly the mechanisms for managing the financial security of enterprises.
