The war in Ukraine has not only precipitated a humanitarian catastrophe but also posed an exceptionally severe challenge to the nation's economy, particularly its insurance market. Amidst incessant bombardments, infrastructural devastation, and profound uncertainty regarding the future, insurance companies have confronted unprecedented adversities. Nonetheless, despite these formidable obstacles, Ukraine remains steadfast in its commitment to European integration, which necessitates the harmonization of domestic legislation with EU norms, including those governing the insurance sector [1].
