Peculiarities of the impact of capital growth processes on the labor market in conditions of active development of information technologies
Анотація
The impact of the process of capital accumulation at the stage of rapid development of information technologies on the labor market was analyzed. The impact of scientific and technological progress on labor force qualification requirements in the modern labor market was studied. A correlation was revealed between the increase in the frequency of technical re-equipment in the economy and the lag in education in ensuring the timely training of the necessary number of professional personnel capable of working effectively in rapidly growing, constantly complicated conditions. The growth in demand for highly qualified specialists and a gradual decrease in the post-industrial economy’s need for unskilled labor were revealed. The growth of the unemployment problem at the level of individual national economies into a larger challenge of a rapid increase in the share of redundant people for the modern high-tech globalized world economy was highlighted. The constant growth in illegal labor migration flows from countries at the pre-industrial stage of development, driven by land overpopulation, was revealed. These flows are directed to post-industrial states, where the supply of jobs for low-skilled workers is significantly less than the number of insufficiently educated newcomers to the job market. This leads to an increase in the number of marginalized and lumpenized segments of society at the global level. The impact of the process of accumulating excess people on the development of the shadow economy and its criminalization is revealed, which leads to a constant increase in social security costs for the growing army of excess people and on the functioning of the law enforcement system to combat the growth of the scale of illegal business and the increase in crime in many countries of the world. The effect of a decrease in the efficiency of national and global economies is revealed, despite the growth of profitability indicators at the level of individual economic units. Keywords: scientific and technological progress, capital accumulation, labor market, international labor migration, shadow economy, criminalization of the economy, lumpenization.
