Applied principles of the intellectualisation of engineering enterprises under digitalisation conditions

Introduction. The article analyses the specific features of the intellectualisation of engineering enterprises in the context of digitalisation. The components of intellectualisation and digital transformation of engineering enterprises are characterised. The implementation of these components promotes synergy between human potential and technological capabilities, forming the foundation for further innovative development, enhanced competitiveness, and sustainable functioning of engineering enterprises within the global economic environment. In modern conditions of economic management and digitalisation, engineering enterprises play a pivotal role in technological advancement by facilitating the modernisation of production capacities and increasing the technological level of the national economy, which determines the relevance of the research topic. Purpose. The aim of the study is to examine the functioning of engineering enterprises under digitalisation in order to develop effective mechanisms for the implementation of digital technologies into enterprise management systems and to identify directions for improving the efficiency of engineering enterprise operations. Methodology. The study employs synthesis and systems analysis methods to substantiate the principles of modern engineering and analyse global trends in the engineering services market. Methods of theoretical generalisation and grouping are applied to identify the components of intellectualisation and digital transformation of engineering enterprises. Results. The principles underpinning modern engineering are substantiated, and the forecast for the growth of the global engineering services market is analysed. The strengths and weaknesses of Ukrainian engineering are identified. The successes achieved in the development of engineering services in Ukraine and the main challenges remaining in the market are described. It is substantiated that the intellectualisation of engineering enterprise activity in the context of digital transformation should focus not only on the integration of innovative solutions into business processes and the implementation of advanced digital technologies but also on the comprehensive development of intellectual capital.
