Features of the Development of Social Entrepreneurship: Foreign Experience

Introduction. The article analyzes the characteristic features of social entrepreneurship, the conditions for its formation and development. The development of social entrepreneurship is an integral part of the country’s development and has its own capabilities. A key tool for the development of social entrepreneurship is the support of the state, which should be accompanied by programs for the development of social enterprises.

\nPurpose. The aim is to substantiate and highlight the main trends of social entrepreneurship development in the context of globalization processes as one of the determinants of solving public problems and economic stability of the state.

\nResults. The characteristic features of social entrepreneurship, conditions of its formation and development are investigated. The characteristic features of social entrepreneurship are defined. The features of social entrepreneurship and historical milestones of social entrepreneurship development are singled out. The basic functions of social entrepreneurship are analyzed. The negative factors of the development of social enterprises in Ukraine are described. It has been established that the development of social entrepreneurship is an integral part of the country’s development and has its own capabilities.

\nConclusions. Social entrepreneurship is a stable and positive form of social change that ensures the development of society, the ability of the community to ensure their own economic independence, stability and prosperity. Despite political and economic instability, low level of financial support from the state, Ukraine has great internal potential for the development of social entrepreneurship, powerful intellectual resources and should develop it. We believe that social entrepreneurship in modern realities is aimed at accelerating positive social changes, ensuring the satisfaction of basic human needs in an optimal way. It can and must be a key factor in sustainable development not only of a particular area, but also of the country as a whole.
