The prospects for enterprises’ development in the coming decades will largely be determined by their ability to turn strategic knowledge into practical actions with minimal delay. Artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies open up new opportunities for processing large volumes of information, but the final decision on the choice of development path remains with the person. It is the human factor the ability to see relationships, assess long-term consequences, and accept responsibility that turns information into knowledge, and knowledge into strategy. Enterprises that realize this truth and build their processes around a person as a carrier and knowledge generator have the greatest chances for sustainable growth in uncertainty conditions. The work highlights management knowledge and management competencies in the following areas: forecasting and planning, organization, motivation, control, coordination; The intellectual map of the "strategic knowledge" category is presented, its practical value lies in its ability to serve as a blueprint for managerial decisions.
