DIGITALIZATION OF MANAGEMENT PROCESSES IN ENTERPRISES: IMPLICATIONS FOR EFFICIENCY, INNOVATION AND RESILIENCE IN THE DIGITAL ECONOMY
Анотація
In the modern conditions of the digital economy, the digitalization of management processes has become one of the main factors determining the competitiveness and sustainable development of enterprises. This article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of digitalization as a systematic process of implementing digital technologies in key areas of management: decision-making, automation of operations, optimization of business processes, and interaction with partners and customers. Particular attention is paid to the evolution of scientific approaches – from the early stages of informatization to the modern focus on value creation, digital platforms, governance and next-generation financial instruments. The study is based on a systematic review of scientific literature from leading international and Chinese databases, bibliometric analysis of the main thematic areas, empirical data of Chinese companies listed on the stock exchange, and an assessment of simplified programming platforms using gray incidence analysis. The results show that the combination of social media, mobile technologies, big data analytics, cloud computing and the principles of the Fourth Industrial Revolution contributes to a significant acceleration of decision-making, reduction of operating costs, increased productivity, personalization in marketing and efficiency in personnel management. Particular emphasis is placed on the specifics of small and medium-sized enterprises, where simplified programming platforms allow you to quickly automate processes without significant development costs and IT specialists, significantly reducing the time for creating digital solutions. At the same time, the main obstacles were identified: fragmentation of initiatives, lack of digital skills, regulatory restrictions, ethical risks (algorithm bias, data privacy issues) and the need for deep adaptation of organizational culture. In an unstable, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environment, the article emphasizes the importance of resilience as a combination of the speed of change and the preservation of stability. Practical recommendations for managers are proposed: phased implementation, pilot projects, investments in digital literacy, adherence to ethical principles, and regular evaluation of results. The study fills the gaps in the understanding of digitalization as a multifaceted process that combines technological, organizational, institutional and ethical aspects, and offers a science-based basis for strategic decision-making on the digital transformation of management at the enterprise and industry level.
