GIS-Based Site Suitability Assessment for Solar Plants in Ivano-Frankivsk Region

SUMMARY The research presents an application of combining Boolean analysis and AHP integrated with GIS for site selection of solar plants in Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ukraine. Environmental, technical and economic factors were considered in the computation process and creation a final suitability map. This study can offer a methodology and decision support to the decision maker for solving the solar farms site selection
