THE EXPERIENCE OF GAMBLING INDUSTRY REGULATION IN MALTA AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION POTENTIAL IN UKRAINE
Анотація
The article examines the economic and legal mechanisms of regulating the gambling industry in the context of digital transformation and the globalization of online gambling markets. The study analyzes the experience of Malta as one of the most developed jurisdictions in the regulation of online gambling. The findings indicate that Malta has established a stable and competitive regulatory environment that attracts international gambling operators and supports the sustainable development of the gambling industry. The results of the study emphasize the importance of developing transparent licensing systems, strengthening institutional regulation, and implementing responsible gambling policies. The adaptation of best international regulatory practices may contribute to the effective development of the gambling industry in Ukraine within the framework of the digital economy.
