In today's conditions of globalization, digitalization of business processes and constant socio-economic changes, effective personnel management is of strategic importance for any organization. Traditional approaches, based primarily on control, hierarchy and administrative influence, are gradually giving way to new management models focused on the individual and its emotional, motivational and communicative needs. In the process of conducting the study, theoretical methods were used: analysis and synthesis - to study scientific approaches to the concept of emotional intelligence, its structure and connection with management effectiveness, comparative analysis - to compare different ЕІ models (Mayer-Salovey-Caruso, Goleman, Bar-On) and determine the advantages and disadvantages, induction and deduction - to formulate general conclusions about the role of emotional intelligence in personnel management. The article reveals the essence of emotional intelligence as a multidimensional psychological phenomenon, characterizes the main ЕІ models (Mayer-Salovey-Caruso model, Goleman model, etc.), formulates recommendations for the development of ЕІ in the system of professional training of managers, and offers practical recommendations for the development of emotional competence of managers in modern organizations. It lies in the possibility of applying its results in a real business environment to increase the efficiency of human resources management, the formation of a positive psychological climate and the strengthening of corporate culture. Can become the basis for creating an integrated model of emotional leadership, combining psychological, social and managerial aspects of effective leadership.
