Risk-oriented approach to improving the financial condition of insurance companies in the modern conditions

Problem setting. Insurance companies remain an important element of the wartime financial ecosystem. They must not only survive in difficult conditions, but also adapt their strategies to ensure stable operations and further development. It is important to find effective tools for improving the financial condition, to investigate the modern risks and challenges faced by insurance companies in the conditions of martial law, and we will propose a set of measures aimed at increasing their financial stability and efficiency. Insurance in Ukraine is not only a method of protecting subjects from the risks of economic activity, but also an opportunity to minimize losses and threats in difficult conditions. Therefore, the assessment of the financial condition of the insurance companies' activities becomes crucial in ensuring financial stabilization and development of the financial sector of the national economy. The article states that in order to evaluate the financial reliability of insurance companies, it is necessary to create early warning tests. An important role in the formation of the general strategy of the insurer's behavior is played by the prediction of the results of the assessment of the solvency of the insurance company using SWOT analysis. The article analyzes the general trends of the insurance market. In modern conditions, Ukraine faced unprecedented challenges for the financial sector, including insurance companies. It was determined that insurance companies remain an important element of the financial system in the conditions of an unstable macroeconomic situation and military aggression. They must not only survive in difficult conditions, but also adapt their strategies to ensure stable operations and further development. Conclusions and prospects for the development. Financial recovery of insurance companies in wartime requires a clear strategy, flexibility and readiness to adapt to rapidly changing conditions. The key elements of the success of insurance companies in such conditions are proactive risk management, optimization of operations and expansion of investment opportunities.
