The Innovation-DeterminatedManagement of the Development of the Industrial Sector of the Economy of Ukraine

Анотація

The research is devoted to the substantiation of the theoretical and methodological principles of innovation-determined management of the development of the industrial sector of the economy of Ukraine in conditions of institutional and constructive uncertainty. The relevance of the topic is due to the influence of wartime economic challenges, structural transformations and instability of the institutional environment, which complicate the processes of long-term development of industry. The aim of the research is to determine the role of innovations as a key determinant of managerial decisions and the formation of a conceptual model of the development of the industrial sector in conditions of uncertainty. The research methodology is based on a combination of systemic, institutional and innovative approaches, which allowed for a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between institutional conditions, innovative activity and the effectiveness of industrial development. The work used methods of structural and functional analysis, comparison and generalization to identify key factors of industry transformation. The research results showed that the industrial sector of Ukraine is characterized by a low level of innovative capacity, an insufficient share of the processing industry in GDP and the vulnerability of the institutional environment, which is manifested in the instability of regulatory policy, weak legal support, and limited access to financial resources. It is substantiated that institutional and structural uncertainty has a dual nature and can be considered not only as a source of risks, but also as a potential resource for the formation of new institutional and technological solutions. It is proved that efficient management of industrial development in such conditions requires a transition to an innovation-determined model, in which innovations are the basic principle of strategic decision-making. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in determining priority areas of industrial development, in particular, modernization of production, increasing the share of products with high added value, development of innovation infrastructure, and integration into global value chains.
