STRATEGIC APPROACHES TO THE MANAGEMENT OF INTERNATIONAL AGRIBUSINESS CORPORATIONS IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBALIZATION AND FOOD SECURITY

This article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations for developing strategic approaches to managing international agribusiness corporations in the context of globalization increasing geopolitical instability, digital transformation, and growing challenges to food security. It analyzes current trends in the development of international agribusiness, the evolution of strategic management concepts, and the operational practices of leading international agri-food corporations. The aim of the study is to substantiate strategic approaches to managing international agribusiness corporations in the context of globalization and growing threats to food security, as well as to identify mechanisms for ensuring their long-term competitiveness, resilience, and sustainable development. The methodological basis of the study consists of general scientific and specialized methods of scientific inquiry, in particular methods of systems analysis, scientific abstraction, generalization, comparative analysis, clustering, structural-logical analysis, and systematization. This enabled the study to examine the specific features of how international agribusiness corporations operate, identify the dominant strategic approaches to managing their activities, and substantiate the tools for ensuring food security in the face of global challenges. The research identified the evolution of strategic concepts for managing international agribusiness corporations and highlighted six interrelated strategic approaches to managing their development: resource-based, institutional, innovation-based, digital, resilience-based, and ESGoriented. The practical experience of leading international agri-food corporations has been systematized, and four dominant integrated strategic approaches have been identified-resource-oriented, innovation-digital, institutional-integration, and resilience-ESG-oriented-the implementation of which contributes to enhancing the competitiveness, adaptability, and sustainability of international agribusiness. Prospects for further scientific research should be linked to the development of methodological approaches for assessing the strategic effectiveness of international agribusiness corporations, the creation of a system of indicators for their digital and ESG maturity, improving risk management mechanisms in the context of global crises, and modeling scenarios for the development of international agribusiness, taking into account decarbonization processes, climate change, and the transformation of global food markets.
