TRADITIONAL SPIRITUAL AND MORAL VALUES IN THE LEGAL FRAMEWORK OF RUSSIA

The Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated November 9, 2022, No. 809 “On Approval of the State Policy Fundamentals for the Preservation and Strengthening of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values” expands the scope of normatively enshrined regulators of law-abiding behavior by introducing moral and ethical standards. This reflecting the evolution of the relationship between morality and law, changes the configuration of the legal framework and the legal field in Russia. Purpose: to consider the formal and substantive aspects of this normative legal act, as applied to the regulation of the behavior of an individual, groups of individuals, and society as a whole. Research methods: to establish the relationships and significance of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation on traditional spiritual and moral values, a set of methods was used: general scientific methods: analysis and synthesis, comparison and generalization, induction and deduction, abstraction, historical, systemic, structural-systemic approaches and methods of formal and dialectical logic. As well as specific scientific approaches were used: comparative legal, dogmatic and social analysis. The article examines the position of Presidential Decrees within the system of regulatory legal acts, the categories of legal space and legal field in their relationship and the relationship between morality and law as applied to the normative consolidation of moral and ethical standards of behavior.
