IMPORT SUBSTITUTION AND LOCALIZATION FOR THE CABLE AND WIRE INDUSTRY MODERNISATION
Анотація
The current state of the cable and wire industry in Ukraine is analyzed and examined trends in its main indicators in the article. An analysis of the main players in the cable products market was carried out. The results of the analysis indicate a significant impact of the war on the developmental condition of the cable and wire industry. The dynamics of foreign economic activity of enterprises in 2021-2023 are reflected, which indicates a significant reduction in exports of the cable and wire industry. It is shown that there have been significant changes in the structure of exports and imports by country in relation to trading partner countries. The results of the system of public procurement of cable products by volume of Ukrainian-made products are analyzed. The factors of industrial modernization through import substitution and localization of production have been identified.
