USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN SCIENTIFIC PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Анотація

The article explores the theoretical and applied aspects of the use of artificial intelligence in the management of scientific projects in the context of the digital transformation of the economy. It is substantiated that modern scientific projects are characterized by a high level of complexity, uncertainty and the need to process significant amounts of information, which necessitates the introduction of intelligent technologies to improve management efficiency. Scientific approaches to defining the essence of the concept of “artificial intelligence” are summarized and its key characteristics as a tool for supporting managerial decision-making are systematized. Modern research in the field of the application of artificial intelligence in project management is analyzed, which allowed us to determine the main areas of its use, in particular, the automation of planning, monitoring, risk assessment and forecasting of results. It is established that the introduction of artificial intelligence contributes to increasing the efficiency of resource use, the quality of managerial decisions and the transparency of the implementation of scientific projects. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the level of use of artificial intelligence in scientific and research activities in the world and in Ukraine. A significant gap was identified between developed countries and Ukraine in terms of AI implementation indicators, the level of scientific publications, human resources and state support. At the same time, it was determined that there is significant potential for the development of the use of artificial intelligence in the scientific sphere of Ukraine, provided that institutional and innovation processes are activated. It is proven that the integration of artificial intelligence into the scientific project management system is an important direction for increasing their effectiveness, competitiveness and adaptability in the digital economy. The article also systematizes the areas of application of artificial intelligence in scientific project management and justifies the feasibility of its integration into modern management practices.
