Анотація. У статті розглянуто особливості державного регулювання страхової системи у країнахучасницях Європейського Союзу. Проаналізовано типові моделі державного регулювання, які здобули популярність у світі. Розвиток страхової системи залежить від ефективності відносин у системі «державаелементи страхової системи», реалізація яких зі сторони держави повинна проводитися завдяки механізму державного регулювання розвитку страхової системи
