PURPOSE OF THE FINANCIAL MARKET UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF DIGITALIZATION OF SOCIETY

Анотація

The article contains theoretical aspects of formation, functioning and essential features of the financial market under the conditions of digitalization of society. The purpose of the study is the theoretical rationale of essence of the concept and functions of the financial market in the contexts of digitalization of society. In the process of research, a complex methodological approach was applied and the following methods were used: theoretical generalization, synergetic, abstract-logical, etc. The preconditions of formation and functional features of the financial market in the conditions of digital transformation of the society were investigated and specified. The evolutionary stages of financial market development and their division into the following main periods were revealed: medieval, revival, new and modern, in order to reveal the genesis of the origin of theoretical aspects of the financial market in the world. The concept of the financial market was specified as an economic category, the financial sphere in which is formed as a system of legal and financial-economic relations of market participants, owners, users, financial intermediaries and speculators concerning the transfer of financial assets and money, insurance of financial risks with the purpose to profit from transactions by means of innovative information technologies using the latest financial instruments. The specified definition of "digital financial market" as economic and synergetic category in which the electronic-financial conjuncture, system of digital, financial-legal, trade relations of market participants for electronic transfer of financial resources in the course of reception of financial-digital object is offered, as well as profit from financial transactions made on electronic platforms. The functional purpose of the financial market is determined, which is represented at the micro-, meso-, macro-, mega-, meta-levels.
