Анотація

The subject of the article is the state regulation of the sphere of service, as an overriding part of the economy of the country as a whole.<br> The purpose of the study itself is to formulate a scientifically based definition of the concept of state regulation of the service sector.<br> In the course of the work, an analysis of recent publications by both domestic and foreign researchers in the field of economics was carried out.<br> The article substantiates the role of state regulation of the sphere of service activity, its essence is disclosed. The forms and methods, as well as possible ways of optimizing the development of the service sector in Ukraine are outlined. The role and place of the service sector in the development of the Ukrainian economy was determined. The results of the study can be used in the field of economics in the further study of the functioning of the service sector.<br> The sphere of service as a productive and promising branch in the national economy of Ukraine plays a key role in the formation of a post-industrial, economically stable society, but its activities require regulation by the state.
