THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK FOR THE IMPACT OF THE MACROECONOMIC ENVIRONMENT ON BANK LENDING TO INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES

Scholars are concerned about the deteriorating situation around bank lending to industrial enterprises in Ukraine. This concern is heightened against the backdrop of an unprecedented full-scale destructive war in Ukraine, at the heart of Europe in the 21st century. This makes the issue of national economic development, including the development of industry, urgent. The impact of the macroeconomic environment on bank lending to industrial enterprises is of particular relevance. Scientific approaches to the definition of the macro environment have are explored in the research. The economic content of macroeconomic environment is clarified. The structure and correlation of macro environment and macroeconomic environment are considered. The main macroeconomic factors and the principal approaches to their typification are considered. Macroeconomic factors affecting bank lending to industrial enterprises are identified in the following groups: factors affecting the bank as lender; factors affecting the industrial enterprise as borrower; factors affecting the project to be lent. The positive and negative macroeconomic factors of influence on bank lending to industrial enterprises are highlighted. The influence of macroeconomic environment on bank lending to industrial enterprises is substantiated.
