EVALUATION OF FUNDRAISING AND GRANTWRITING AS INSTRUMENTS OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TERRITORIAL COMMUNITIES

Анотація

The article focuses on the study of fundraising and grantwriting, their role in the context of war and in the implementation of projects at various levels, including at the level of territorial communities.The reasons for limiting the funding of socially significant projects, which necessitate the search for alternative sources of financial resources, are indicated.It is noted that fundraising is not widespread in Ukraine and is often associated with charity and social projects.The importance of understanding that fundraising and grantwriting as tools for financial support for the development of territorial communities can be used not only for charity, but also for commercial projects and attracting investors is considered.The structure and possibilities of fundraising for the restoration and development of territorial communities are considered.Attention is paid to the conditions for applying fundraising technology in the activities of territorial communities.Risks and obstacles, as well as chances and opportunities for Ukrainian realities in the context of war are analysed.The expediency of choosing a specific fundraising tool is substantiated, taking into account the duration of the project, effectiveness, cost of the organisational stage and available financial resources.A number of key benefits of using fundraising tools for implementing local projects are highlighted.The factors that can stimulate or limit the development of fundraising are summarised.The use of fundraising tools as a mechanism for improving the decision-making process for the implementation of local projects is proposed.The article substantiates measures to form social partnerships, expand fundraising opportunities, promote charity and philanthropy, and ensure the reliability of information and transparency of financial reporting.These conclusions Актуальні питання у сучасній науці № 1( 19) 2024 16 can serve as a basis for developing strategies and programmes for NGOs aimed at increasing the effectiveness of fundraising and ensuring the sustainability of their financial activities.
