The Priorities of Development of the Agrarian Sector of Economy of Ukraine: Organic Products and Its Certification
Анотація
The article is aimed at analyzing the current status of the industry sector of organic production in Ukraine and the world as a strategically significant component of the development of agricultural sector of economy. The role and importance of organic production in the system of priorities of sustainable development are defined. The approaches to definition of the concepts of «organic production» and «ecologization» are analyzed. The dynamics of organic production development in the world are researched, and the main indicators of the development of organic production sector in Ukraine are presented, such as: land areas occupied by organic production, number of enterprises, involved in organic production activities. The main challenges facing the sector of organic production in Ukraine nowadays have been identified, among which the imperfection and non-standardization of certification procedures is one of the main ones. The basic stages of certification of organic production in the USA are considered. The conducted research uses the following methods: monographic, induction, deduction, analysis, and synthesis. As a result of research the further directions have been defined, and the instruments which can stimulate development of the sector of organic production in Ukraine have been suggested.
