Trust as a factor in ensuring economic security and development of the financial market

The article examines the theory and practice of the institute of trust as a dynamic characteristic of relations between economic entities. These relations are based on the profitability of the economic results of interaction and on confidence in each other's good faith. In the context of ensuring economic security, the authors define trust as a multifactorial model of fundamental importance. The content of the category is revealed through the performance of the following functions: adaptive, communicative, developing, the function of cognition and self-improvement of the individual. The principles on which the mechanism of trust in relations between the state and citizens is based were identified. Three types of trust were considered: institutional, concretized and social. The issues of developing trust as a factor in ensuring economic security were clarified, threats and risks of forming this system were identified. The authors noted the positive aspects of the influence of high trust in society, as well as the negative consequences of low trust relationships. It was emphasized that increasing the level of trust depends on creating conditions for a positive solution to key issues of quality of life, as well as on the efficiency of government institutions. The specifics and key aspects of trust in the development of the country's financial market were determined. The decisive role of the Central Bank of Russia in ensuring a trust environment in the financial market was outlined. Measures aimed at increasing the efficiency of the process of forming trust in public administration were proposed.
