BENEFITS AND RISKS OF IMPLEMENTING AND USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN BUSINESS

Анотація

The article examines the essence, advantages, and risks of implementing and using artificial intelligence in modern business. The purpose of the study is to provide a theoretical generalization and systematization of scientific approaches to defining the essence of artificial intelligence, as well as a comprehensive analysis of the advantages and risks of its application, taking into account industry-specific features, in order to substantiate directions for the effective, safe, and responsible use of this technology in enterprise activities. The study reveals the economic nature of artificial intelligence as a tool for digital transformation of business and systematizes the main approaches to its definition, which made it possible to form a comprehensive understanding of its role in business. The main areas of artificial intelligence application in key business activities are generalized, and the principal advantages are identified, including increased efficiency of business processes, automation of operations, improvement in the quality of managerial decision-making, and enhancement of innovation development. Special attention is paid to the systematization of risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence, which include technological, ethical, social, legal, and cybersecurity aspects. It is established that the most critical risks are algorithmic bias, lack of transparency in decision-making, data leakage, and cyber threats. The conducted analysis shows that the level and nature of risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence in business differ significantly depending on the industry sector. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the systematization of the advantages and risks of using artificial intelligence in business and in substantiating directions for its effective, safe, and responsible implementation. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of their application to improve enterprise management efficiency and minimize risks. The study concludes that the effective use of artificial intelligence is possible under the conditions of its integration with human intelligence, ensuring algorithm transparency, adherence to ethical principles, development of human capital, and implementation of risk management systems.
