STATE AND PROSPECTS OF CASHLESS PAYMENTS IN RUSSIA

Анотація

The article highlights the relevance of studying cashless money circulation in the context of digitalization and the development of technologies in the financial sector. It is noted that these trends have an impact on the Russian economy and the global economic system. The article identifies the factors influencing the development of cashless payments in Russia, and identifies the barriers, incentives, and prospects for these processes in the Russian Federation. Special attention is given to the set of legislative initiatives and programs implemented by the Government of the Russian Federation and the Central Bank of Russia to stimulate the development of cashless payments. Taking into account the identified problems that hinder the development of cashless payments and the factors that stimulate their expansion, the key directions and prospects for the development of these processes in Russia are systematized. It is emphasized that the introduction of cashless payments contributes to increasing the transparency of payments, financial discipline, reducing the shadow economy, and expanding access to financial services.
