Анотація
On the basis of summarizing of the main approaches to the use of qualitative and quantitative criteria for the determination of the subjects of small and medium-sized enterprises in the regional economic systems a number of specific, socio-economic areas of innovation development of the small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine is considered and suggested. Factors affecting on the formation and operation of the small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine are justified.
