Анотація

The article examines the fundamental principles and methodological foundations of project management as an effective managerial approach applicable to scientific and research activities. The relevance of the study is determined by the increasing requirements for the quality, transparency, and efficiency of research outcomes, as well as the growing need to introduce modern management tools into the organization of scientific work. The significance of implementing a project management system for ensuring the sustainable development of scientific activity at the state level and improving the effectiveness of research programs is substantiated. The study highlights the expediency of using the concept of “scientific project management” instead of the traditional notion of “management of scientific research,” as the project-oriented approach allows clearer definition of expected results, resources, stages, and evaluation criteria of scientific work. Particular attention is paid to the role of the project leader in organizing effective cooperation among team members and preventing conflict situations during project implementation. The main factors contributing to conflicts within project teams are analyzed, and managerial mechanisms for their prevention and resolution are identified. The findings demonstrate that a high level of project team motivation is one of the key factors in minimizing conflicts, as it contributes to constructive collaboration, increased responsibility, and higher efficiency in achieving project objectives.
