Summary. The purpose of the article is to present the results of a study of the daily life of workers in the Drohobych region of the Ukrainian SSR in 1945–1950. The research methodology is based on the principles of scientificity, historicism, systematicity, authorial objectivity, as well as the use of general scientific methods (induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis) and special historical methods (historical-systemic, historical-genetic, historical-typological). The scientific novelty is that for the first time, on the basis of little-known sources, the everyday life of workers in the Drohobych region of Ukraine in 1945–1950 is presented. The conclusions. As a result of the research, it was found that the everyday life of the workers of the Drohobych region in the first post-war years was characterized by extremely unsatisfactory material and social conditions. The card system, which operated until 1947, did not take into account even the minimum needs of workers who supported big families of several people. Wages ranged from 200 to 900 rubles, however, 20–30% of the workersʼ cash income was used to pay taxes, state loans, payment of monetary fines for non-fulfillment of production tasks, etc. The worker's food basket was limited mainly to potatoes and brown bread, which was of poor quality. The living conditions of urban workers were poor, the situation of workers who lived in villages and had their own modest accommodation was somewhat better. These rural workers used land plots, grew certain products, but had to pay high taxes in kind and money. Workers of Soviet enterprises were the objects of indoctrination by the Communist Party, Komsomol and trade union organizations. The workers did not like the economic and social policies of the Soviet regime, some of whom sympathized with the Ukrainian liberation movement (OUN and UPA), but never dared to openly protest against the authorities.
