ECONOMIC GROWTH OF THE COUNTRY: FACTORS AND FEATURES

Анотація

У статті наведено сутність поняття «економічне зростання» країни та визначено його роль у формуванні національної економіки. Визначено особливості та фактори економічного зростання. У статті наголошено, що економічне зростання передбачає налагоджене виробництво, покращення якості національних продуктів, підвищення їхньої конкурентоспроможності як на внутрішньому, так і на зовнішньому ринку за рахунок упровадження новітніх технологій і нових виробництв у галузі економіки. У роботі наведено класифікацію факторів економічного зростання, яка, на відміну від наявних, включає цінності (самовираження, релігію, виживання). У статті значну увагу приділено моделям економічного зростання, які стали підґрунтям для оцінювання рівня економічного зростання в Україні. Також це підтвердила актуальність їхнього застосування в сучасних умовах, особливо моделі Лєонтьєва. На підставі отриманих результатів запропоновано пріоритетні напрями забезпечення стійкого економічного зростання в Україні. (There is a problem of finding ways to strengthen its position in the global economy system, because resources are nonrenewable, largely exhaustive and, therefore, valuable, and the competition in the global economic system is accelerating at a rapid pace. This is perhaps the main problem of any country’s development – economic growth. There is no doubt that the growing economy is more able to meet new needs and solve socio-economic problems both domestically and internationally. Economic growth, on the one hand, determines the level of state economic policy, the degree of satisfaction of the needs of the inhabitants of the country, and is also an indicator of living standards and well-being. On the other hand, economic growth determines the place of the country among others in the world market, competitiveness, the opportunity to influence the world economic and political development. For the last two decades, one of the most important goals of any government’s economic policy has been to stimulate economic growth and maintain its pace at a stable level. All this requires a clear understanding of economic growth, its drivers of stimulation and restraint, which is why the chosen topic of study is extremely relevant in the conditions of economic development of any country. The purpose of the article is to uncover the theoretical foundations, familiarization with the peculiar features of the economic growth of the country, as well as identify ways to ensure the stability and effectiveness of such a process in the context of market relations in the example of Ukraine. The article describes the essence of the concept of "economic growth" of the country and its role in the formation of the national economy. The features and factors of economic growth are determined. The article notes that economic growth involves the establishment of production, improving the quality of national products, increasing their competitiveness in both the domestic and foreign markets through the introduction of the latest technologies and new industries in the field of economics. The paper presents a classification of factors of economic growth, which, unlike existing ones, including values (self-expression, religion, survival). The article pays great attention to economic growth models, which became the basis for assessing the level of economic growth in Ukraine. It also confirmed the relevance of their use in existing conditions, especially the Leontev model. Based on the results obtained, priority directions for ensuring sustainable economic growth in Ukraine are proposed.)
