THE CONSEQUENCES OF LABOUR MIGRATION INFLUENCE ON SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIETY AND THE STATE IN THE CONTEX OF GLOBALIZATION

Анотація

The active migratory processes that inherent to the present time implicitly have a significant influence on the development of global economy. Increased labor migration of highly skilled workers and promising young people to European countries hinders the development of the national economy of Ukraine, as domestic enterprises require highly skilled specialists. At one time the new members of European Union faced the problem of mass departure of their citizens to work in other European countries that appropriately affected GDP growth decline in these countries. The reasons of labour migration of Ukrainians and consequences of its influence on socio-economic development of society and the state in the contex of globalization have been presented in the article. Among the reasons that force Ukrainians to look for a job abroad it is necessary to point out the unstable economic situation in Ukraine and high enough demand on labour emigrants in the European Union countries. Nowadays the opportunities for the Ukrainian young people to get the diploma of the European standard have been broadened, however, the most powerful stimulus of the educational migration is still the opportunity to stay to work in the EU. The special importance in the article has been given to the consideration of positive and negative consequences of labour migration that have an economic, social and cultural orientation. The catastrophic consequences of labour migration are the increase of the fiscal load on working population in Ukraine, worsening of demographic situation, loss of intellectual potential for economic development. It has been determined that the problems solution concerning labour migration requires government control by means of signing of agreements, legalization of employment; problem solution of reorientation from raw material production to the production of the finished products that will provide the opportunities for the economic growth and, as a result will lead to the salary increase; forming a sense of security, deepening of social responsibility, salary and social packages transparency provision, etc.
