Introduction. Ukraine's post-war recovery will be accompanied by a profound transformation of the business environment shaped by infrastructure destruction, resource constraints, digital modernisation, European integration reforms, security risks, and the structural restructuring of the economy. Under these conditions, enterprises will be required to shift from short-term crisis response towards adaptive management models focused on long-term resilience and competitiveness. Purpose. The purpose of this study is to substantiate the essence of the post-war transformation of Ukraine's business environment, identify the key challenges faced by enterprises, and determine management priorities aimed at ensuring organisational resilience, adaptability, economic security, and competitiveness. Methodology. The research is based on systemic, institutional, risk-oriented, adaptive, and resource-based approaches. Methods of analysis and synthesis, scientific generalisation, comparison, structural-functional analysis, PESTLE analysis, logical modelling, and economic-mathematical formalisation were employed to provide a comprehensive assessment of the factors shaping the post-war transformation of the business environment. Results. The study demonstrates that Ukraine's post-war business environment represents a new configuration of economic, institutional, technological, financial, and security conditions affecting enterprise development. Eight interrelated groups of post-war challenges are identified: infrastructure, financial and investment, human resources, logistics, energy, technological, institutional and regulatory, and security challenges. The key management priorities include adaptive strategic planning, operational resilience, financial stabilisation, human capital development, digital transformation, economic security, energy autonomy, and partnership-based cooperation. A conceptual model of enterprise adaptation to the post-war business environment and an integrated management readiness index for assessing enterprise preparedness for post-war transformation are proposed. Conclusions. The findings confirm that successful enterprise adaptation to the post-war business environment requires the implementation of an integrated adaptive management system combining strategic flexibility, risk-oriented management, digital transformation, human capital development, and economic security. The proposed conceptual framework may serve as a methodological basis for developing enterprise recovery strategies and improving public policies supporting post-war business development.
