THE ROLE OF SOCIAL INSURANCE IN THE PARADIGM OF ECONOMIC RECOVERY IN UKRAINE

Анотація

Introduction. The article analyzes the analysis and prospects for the development of the social insurance system in the process of economic recovery of Ukraine in the context of current socio-economic challenges. The relevance of the study is stipulated by the need to reform the social security system to increase its efficiency and adapt to modern challenges, such as the consequences of war, economic crisis, digitalization of the economy and demographic changes. Materials and methods. Author used system analysis, logical generalization, mathematical statistics, expert opinions, and comparative modeling to substantiate key aspects of improving social insurance. Results and discussion. The purpose of the study is to define the conceptual and practical role of social insurance in ensuring social stability, economic resilience and support for vulnerable groups. The article findings show that the current social insurance system in Ukraine faces numerous challenges, including financial instability, insufficient targeting of benefits, bureaucracy, and low digital integration. In the context of war and economic instability, there is a growing need to improve resource management, introduce digital technologies, increase transparency, and attract international assistance. The author also substantiates the need to create new insurance products adapted to the modern needs of citizens, including support for veterans, internally displaced persons, and people with disabilities. Conclusions. The author emphasizes the importance of centralizing the system, digitalizing services, transparent financing, and integrating European standards. This will create an effective and socially just system capable of providing a decent level of social protection even in times of crisis.
