THE ROLE OF DIPLOMACY IN ENSURING THE INTERNATIONAL SECURITY OF THE COUNTRY: THE ECONOMIC ASPECT

Анотація

The essence of international security as a component of Ukraine’s national security is considered. The methodological principles of ensuring international security, the system of international security are determined, the internal topology of the country’s international security is investigated, and approaches to the influence of diplomatic support on the country’s security are analyzed. It has been established that diplomacy is a method of interaction between states that tries to achieve their national interests. At the same time, it has been proven that diplomacy is the method by which the connection between the formation of national interests is carried out and their protection is ensured (international security of the country). It was determined that depending on the situation in which the country found itself, emphasis is placed on one or another force in ensuring the country’s international security on the world stage.The dynamics of individual foreign economic indicators of Ukraine during 2020-2022 have been analyzed. Economic diplomacy is entrusted with tasks aimed at ensuring Ukraine’s international economic security. Studying the experience of developed countries, it is noted that in most of them the principle of "security through development" is doctrinal: the close relationship and interdependence of the tasks of ensuring international national security and sustainable socio-economic development of the country.
